TONNAGE CHARGES ON VESSELS ENTERING OR DEPARTING FROM THE PORT OF SWANSEA AND PORT TALBOT DOCKS

CLASS 1

On all vessels entering with cargo from or departing with cargo for any port in the United Kingdom, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney or Sark and for vessels which shall not enter a Dock, but shall receive or deliver passengers, goods, animals or minerals at or upon or otherwise use any of the works or premises of the Port Authority a sum for every G.T. of such vessel.

On all Vessels entering with cargo from or departing with cargo for any port in Europe, between the North Cape and Straits of Gibraltar.

On all Vessels entering with cargo from or departing with cargo for any other port in Europe or any port within the Straits of Gibraltar, whether in Europe,Asia or Africa.

TONNAGE CHARGES ON VESSELS

For every Vessel entering from or departing for any foreign port which shall not enter the Port of Swansea but shall receive or deliver passengers, goods, animals or minerals at or upon or otherwise use any of the works or premises of the Port Authority a charge which will be quoted upon application.

DOCK RENT

If any Vessel shall remain within a dock or basin for a period longer than 72 hours following completion of vessel discharging or loading, then for the time which the vessel remains beyond that period it will incur further charges as follows:

For every day or part of a day- £0.07 per GT

For any vessel entering the Wet Dock for purposes other

than to discharge/load cargo, dock rent will be charged from the day of entry as follows:

For every day or part of a day - £0.07 per GT

ENVIRONMENTAL CHARGE

Please note that due to an extension of the Merchant Shipping Act which now requires Port Authorities to supply waste reception facilities for ships' waste disposal, a charge will be made to all vessels entering the Port (other than those accommodated at a terminal which provides its own waste disposal facilities) and will be as follows:-

Vessels up to 3000 G.T.£34.25

Vessels over 3000 G.T.£57.05
